I have a9 week old puppy thats starting to bark alot how xan I get him to stop barking so much in the kennel normaly I try to keep 2 together to help with bordem but I dont have one to put with him right now thanks any help would be appriciated

I would give the pup an old towel or blanket & maybe a pair of old boots (without shoelaces). Maybe something (hard rubber) to chew on. I give our 4 month old a dog bisquit once in a while. Maybe leave a radio on at the kennel. Any of this should help calm her down & occupy her. Push come to shove we have given CHILDRENS BENADRYL (Liquid). We buy Wal-Mart Brand. Give about a 1/2 to 1 teaspoon for a pup that young. This may calm him/her. You could go to the animal shelter and adopt a pup the same age.

I will tell them No sternly .Get in your box.At the same time I will have a cup or bean size can with water in it and swing it so the water hits it fairly good.If it is a smart pup it will get the idea after three or four times.Then all you will have to do is hollar no,get in your box and it will hush.Right now it is missing its littermates and you need to give it something to occupy its energy and attention like squeaky toys or small sized rawhide bones or chews .

If you have an old wind up clock, put it in the box with them. The ticking sound seems to soothe the seperation and lonliness.

Don't forget to turn off the alarm.......That'll freak em out alittle!

He didnt at all for about a week and the last two days he barks not nonstop jut every few hours he will start barking foor 20 or 30 mins at a time

I have him on a feeder with puppy chow he has calmed down now I think my wifes cats were bothering him I was watching him when they would come out.were he could see them he would start
