There is alot that could be said about Wrangler. He has been owned by some men who most certainly have strapped leadstraps to some of the greatest coondogs and reproducers of all time. Allen Smith bred and trained him, Todd Norfleet polished him, Gene Wolfenbarger got the ball rolling breeding him.

Wranglers sire Gr Nite Ch Cowee Creek Clint has for certain left a mark on the breed by reproducing such solid dogs as Gunsmoke, Stranger, Sheltons Hammer, Fightin Side, Wrangler, and the list goes on. Clint marked all his pups with huge mouths and big houndy looks.

Wranglers mother Nite Ch Raccoon Valley Queen was one of the most dominant reproducing females ever born. She had 41 pups in her life and of those she produced 6 Grand Nites and 7 Nite Champs. She is the mother to Skuna River Fred and Hubs Homer.

At last count Wrangler has 104 pups on the ground. This is nowhere near enough to call him a proven reproducer. However, of those 104 pups there are several that any man would be proud to snap a lead strap on. Wrangler wasnt bred to alot in his prime due to spending the first five years at Allens and then standing beside his daddy until he was seven. It wasnt until Gene Wolfenbarger bought him that he was bred any to speak of.

Wrangler throws big pups that look and act like a hound should. If you want a pup to sound like a cur instead of a coondog I wouldnt suggest breeding to Wrangler. I will post video of two of his pups and you can decide for yourself.

He will be in Irvine, KY for a limited while and will then be back in Ohio. His stud fee is $250 and he will be a Super Stake Sire for 2013 breeding season as well as Performance.

As of talking with UKC today Wrangler now has 140 pups on the ground. The vast majority are under three years old. Of these 140 pups there are six who now hold UKC Hunt titles. I firmly believe this will be the year those numbers greatly increase as more of his pups reach the age were they are going to the hunts.

The calls are coming in on Wrangler, Wrangler pups, and people looking for Wrangler pups dont wait until it is to late to breed your good coon treeing female.

wrangler is a nice looking dog i know of 2 pups of wrangler by me in the sc and they are females sandhill action kat and smokey mtn maggie they are littermate sis kat just made nt ch maggie is also a nt ch these females are some action pac hounds there mom was a good one also tune action kat was her name i know I'm going to breed to him

Jewell will hunt as a 2 year old in the Spring Super Stakes.

Been in two UKC hunts and has a 2nd place win with 200+.

This is what you will see when you hunt with Jewell:

Great Looks.
Above average mouth.
Above average tree dog.
Goes hunting hard and fast.
Quick Strike dog.
Real Independent.
Will tree with other dogs if they strike quick and she is with them.
Doesn't mind if another dog comes to her tree.
Cut her from her tree and she will go past another dog already treed. Will not go and cover late.
Will hold all the pressure you want to put on her. Running or Treed pressure.
Not ill at all.
She is as broke as any 2 year old I have ever hunted.
She is not perfect, but she will tree you a lot of coons and if put in the hunts will win you a lot of dollars.
She has the right tools to finish into a really great hound.

If you like one that will leave from the truck like she is late for work... She will do it.
If you like one that is real independent, but not jealous to the point that she will not tree with another dog at all.... She will do it.
If you like one that when you are ready to go home you can call and she will come like she is leaving work.... She will do it.

Wrangler pups will put a smile on your face and put you in the winners circle. After ordering a offspring report from UKC I was able to make contact with several folks who have Wrangler pups. Several have wins and places and should finish this year. Several more have PKC earnings and will be headed to more hunts this year. A good majority of his offspring are less than three years old.

Looked at my ProHound a little while ago and congrats to PKC CH Nite Ch Sandhill Action Kat for making the 2013 PKC National Females standings. I expect she will climb higher and higher as the year goes on. From what I have been told by numerous people she is a super good one. She is off Wrangler x Action Kat.

I have had several calls, emails, and pm on people wanting pups off of Wrangler. I currently have a litter on the way that will be due just after Christmas. I am going to take a list of names of people wanting them and I will do my best to call you in the order you let me know.

Pups all sold and will be Super Stakes and Performance. Super Stakes will be paid up before they leave here.

The mother to these pups is a NITE CH CH that has three wins. She is still being hunted and will finish to GR NITE CH. She is the complete package and her previous litter of pups are doing very well. There are guys on this board hunting pups off her.

I like Hank about as good as any yound dog I have ever had. He has alot of brains and is very accurate. Of course he still has nights when you can tell he is a "green" pup.
