Anybody know anything about the Sportdog TEK 2.0 ? I was told it is going to have a map card.

I like the tek 1 but yes i heard the 2 will have map card. if it does this will open up a whole new world of users for sportdog. they were ahead of garmin in the combo dept but just lacked the map card and it hurt the sales. but as far as tracking ability and dependablity sport dog is great

I would say by the time you can Google it you can buy it just didn't know if anyone was going to say anything if they had one they where testing or knew someone who was testing one.

It was at the Shot Show. We'll have more info later. But yes it does have maps. Here is a sample Photo of it. Expect it later this year.

Not sure what to expect on if they have made any improvements compared to the competition or not, but check back and we will keep folks posted about our thoughts on it.

Personally I don't think sport dog will ever make one better than garmin. To each his own . Still see 220s today's being used and not a single problem .

Tek2

I have had one a couple of months and it has great range,it's a little aggravating to set up .i think it has a more detailed topo map, than most topo maps but I don't like the way it zooms out.other than that it works good
