World Hunt Tour Rewards

I dont hunt many UKC hunts so can someone inform me just as to what rewards will my dog be awarded should we get lucky,I am hunting a registered open dog that needs a first to be a Nite CH.So are there any awards for a single cast win or double cast wins at the zones. Also how does one advance with say just one cast win with a good score versus 2 cast wins with low scores..I assume you must hunt both nights???Can a cast that doesnot have plus points be awarded a winner .Otherwords will someone that knows how the system work please explain things to me,Thanks in advance...JBG

Two night cast winners first. Then it goes to single cast winners after that. It's all explained in the rulebook under the world hunt section

I think says 1st-6th place gets a registered dog a first place in zones

I would like to know the format as to what will take place for the 3 nights,At what point does a dog hunt alone and what determines if a dog advances to the next round after hunted alone .After reading the back of the rule book,Seems to me like you gotta win it all or win nothing...Thanks for any response to this question.

Everybody hunts the 1 st round early on Thursday, and then the 1st round cast winners hunt by theirself and they hunt until they tree a coon or 2 hours is up or they are scratched which ever comes first. Once they get plus points, they are on to the next round. On Friday, everybody left in the hunt draw out together, the top 3 plus point cast winners advance to the finals on Saturday night. The remaining plus point cast winners go back out and the winner of the cast with plus points advances to the finals on Saturday night. I hope I have explained the process where you can understand it. Good luck and I hope you make it to Shreveport.

Thanks for the response guys.I just take it one cast at a time and see what happens,So long as the heat dont get any warmer I feel with some luck we will do o.k.The dog is a long way from being in top physical shape, but his accuracy and drive will help us the most...Gettin ready to cut loose in a few minutes for a final run before the big show starts, Good luck to all .Sure would be nice to make the final 4 for my buddy..JERRY LEVINER
