Well, the "new guys" finally got what they wished for last night. "Old Man Football" , indeed. Down South it's called SMASH MOUTH FOOTBALL!!!! Welcome, Texas A&M and Missouri, you made a fine showing and should do very well here in your new home. It'll take a few years recruiting, but you are well on your way already. Two pretty darn good football teams that only makes the best better!!!

Pretty sure Texas A&M has the smash mouth part of the game down now if they can just hold on to a lead they will make waves in the SEC this year they won't be able to compete with Alabama but they will give everyone else a good run for the money

Yep. Both have good programs and will do pretty good here, just take a year or 2 of recruiting. Should be easier to walk in a kid's living room and start a conversation with "Ya know, son, you'll be on ESPN every Saturday and even hit CBS for those 8:00 games. We're in the SEC now." A&M might have the upper hand in recruiting Texas now with that fast pace offense the SEC tag. Might be making them Longhorns sweat some. Missouri is already a contender for the East. Like I said, make the great conference better. Where you from?

Don't get me wrong, I was all about them DAWGS!!!! Just saying they could be right there with GA UF & SC. War of attrition set in as it typically does with non/new conference teams. Glad to see GA get the win, was sweating that first half though!!

Todd I'm from a little hole in the wall Olive Hill it's in carter county but I do have to admit I was pulling for A&M yesterday I've never like Florida and after producing Tebow I dislike them that much more and yesterday was only the 2nd time Florida has ever won a game in Texas both teams will be good fits in the toughest conference in college football

Olive Hill is around Morehead, ain't it? I've been there a long time ago. Muchamp is a great d coord. but we'll have to see on the HC thing. Never been a UF fan myself but we had to have A&M and Missouri lose they're first conference game otherwise Hoosier Man 1 from Ohio that's a Boise ST fan would have never let us live it down!! LOL!!

Everybody knows the SEC is the toughest conf. in Football. Glad to see Mizzou and A&M come in. Two good programs that will do well. Ill have to say I was glad to see both SEC teams win Saturday just to keep our status where it is. Although I am a UK fan and dread seeing either of those teams visit Commonwealth Stadium.
