Pup vaccination

When do those of you who successfully raise lots of pups give their first shot, and what shot do you give??

Thanks

5way at 6 weeks(some do it as early as 5weeks)
7way at 9weeks
7way at 12weeks
7way at 16 weeks
Then a 7way annually after that, that's always worked for me.

Always works for me!

I do mine with 5 ways at 6 and 9 weeks. A 7 way at 12 and 16 weeks. Most shot manufacturing companys say don't give a 7 way till pups are twelve weeks old. The 2 types of lepto vaccine in the shots can cause problems at times but doesn't happen very often but has accured in some cases. Rabies shot at 5 months and at a year old and repeat 7 way annually. 3 year rabies when they turn 2 and repeat evrey 3 years.

Actualy IF you do a bit of research on the Net about Puppy Vaccines you will find that there are Finding that the Combination Vaccines may couse More harm than good .. The Newer strains of Parvo Require a Single dose of "Neopar" at 2 interviles one at 4-5 weeks then at 7 weeks .. Only treat a pup with what it really needs !! Parvo and Distemper .. The Combo vaccines may be rejected or whose make the parvo portion nonreactive.

But you can Buy the 5 way and only give the Parvo 1 cc Bottle .. Buy a Bottle of Injectable Sterial Water to Mix the Other Vaccines at around 8 to 10 weeks .

This is what we have switched to !! We Delivered 15 pups this year .. They have been on the ground running with the Pack !! lol since they were 5 weeks old and we have parvo in the ground !! their 11 week old now ..
