Stud Dog ? Who's da Man in TW breed ?

Dont get Coonhound Bloodlines and would just like some opinions from hunters of Who's Da Man ? Outta all the TW studs and we all know they are bunches of them , who is the one go to Dog? In everything theirs a go to , sports teams, work, church in all aspects of life their is a go to. I'm asking who is THE GO TO right now in the TW breed ? The Babe Ruth, the Michael Jordon, Dale Earnhardt ..... Who's Da Man??? I got a nice gyp with nice pedigree on her and would just like to take her to Da Man.. Thanks

I hunt Leopards so don't criticize me too bad, But I would have to go with Mr. Clean. I like folk that hunt a WORLD CHAMP and keep on hunting one instead of hiding one. I sure do hope they got a plenty of semen saved up. And I bet they do. I even wish Sackett JR had semen but times are different now. You can keep hunting a dog and have something dumb (runned over) happen to it and it is not like you lost it all like years ago. I might want some Clean Semen 15 years from now or not . In the mean time, if he is still hunting I'm rooting for him. A dual or a triple or 6 times UKC World Champ would get my attention. Keep on hunting Clean and all the Others and see what works out. I am prejudiced cause Clean already has the best pedigree going Walker style that I can think of. Most would have made a nite champ out of him and RETIRED HIM as FAMOUS . LOL. Another WORLD.

Ok ??? Is it Mojo ? I know Mojo he came my area but is he the go to ? Cain ? I like the Hollywood Insane Scar .. But is he the go to ? Ain't got time to try pups off these dogs or the whole checking out stud dog deal .. As far what I like in a dog ?? I like the one that trees the most coons night after night .. So who is Da Man ?? Any input would be great . Thanks

WAS there a page color photo of one of a thousand dogs standing on the tree slobbering that got your attention? LOL If you ain't got time to be hunting for the best you need to open a used car lot and sell some BS. Five or six post and you want to know the secrets I have done gave away to you after 40 years of hunting?? Just buy yourself a full color page add in a Magazine and run it a few times LOL. That ought to do the trick.

Trouble may not be "Da Man" but he's throwin some real winners. He's got several pups in the top 10 in VA PKC and some comming on in NC, SC and WVA. He's just not promoted like he should be.

The breeder that has done more for the breed in my opinion I'n the last 5 years studs and top females in the country is mr Cochran from ga. You got Harry bawls,dragon bawls,fat,and he has had Shea,cloey,and now has her daughters and a bunch more ,mr Cochran has made for breed changing crosses than anyone ! Look at pro hound spring and fall results he's all over the board!

There is a dog down here that throws COONDOGS. His name is GrntCh Georgia State Trooper. I have hunted with many of his pups from several different crosses and all ages. He throws super early starting dogs with brains. He has not been bred much but what pups are out there are doing great. I am hunting a 6 yr Grnite off of him now. This dog was 5th place nite champ at the classic 2 yrs ago and his sister has won a bunch too. She made it through the zones last year. A young boy as a female out of troop that is a coondog and a few young ones doing great. Troop is out of Charley Creek Clay...Don't see that much anymore.

There are great reproducers (stud dogs) and there are great coondogs. They are often NOT the same dog. Hardwood Henry was one of the best coon treers ever but he will not be remembered as a great reproducer. Rat Attack is practically a legendary stud but those who hunted with him always say the same thing, barely common. You ask about a Stud Dog. Ok, now you gotta answer two more questions. Are you trying to produce something to win a World Hunt with or are you trying produce a litter of pups that will sell the fastest for the mostest? Again, they aren't always the same thing.
Either way, Prohound is the go to source. Sorry UKC, I dig Coonhound Bloodlines and will never let my subscription lapse but for "right now" imfo on whats winning and who produces winners along with who is the stud dog flavor of the month, Prohound is the monthly bible. You got Pups On The Way to tell you who is being bred the most and you got Sire Of The Year race along with the National Male, Female and Pup standings to see what is winning and what they are off of. Between all that, you get a ton of imfo on whats hot, whats selling and whats winning.

Raise a dual sired litter if you want both. Breed her to clean and Mojo, but thats alot of money in stud fees. Either way, alot of nice dogs out there...some better than others. Alot of nice ones very overlooked too
