I advertised this pup (Rambo) on this board a couple years ago for Herb Mason. He was a started pup and was priced at $500. He sold to a guy from Iowa who brought him back because he had one testicle (sorry I didn't check).
He was then sold to Daryl Martin in Canada whose cousin owned the outstanding GRNTCH Morgan female that was a littermate to Bubba. Daryl sold half of him to his friend Andrew who recently finished him to Nite Champion. They only have 4 or 5 UKC hunts a year in their area and those are still 3 to 5 hours away.
They say that Rambo is an exceptional hound and there is no reason to doubt them since he is from the Bubba X Barbie cross that produced SEVERAL nice hounds including Tom Purdy's GRNTCH Rambler dog.
This won't mean much to most but to the guys that have hunted this line it will and I appreciate everyones contributions to the Bubba line. Congrats Daryl, Andrew and Rambo.

PS yes he is a tree dog

GRNTCH Late Nite Big Bubba... One of the most overlooked walker hounds of all time. He was the one of the best ones ive ever seen unsnapped. I am glad i had the pleasure of seeing him go.

Yes i bought Rambo off this board and it will be a long time before i get one like that for $500.00 again. Thanks Nathan. Rambo is a action packed type dog who is fun to hunt, gets in there in a hurry and doesnt waste time getting treed. I think this line is highly underated. Thanks again for selling me this hound hes been a true pleasure.

Congratulations, Darryl sounds like Rambo is a good one!! Nathan did a great job getting this line of dogs started!! Bubba was a good one!! If you ever get a chance maybe You, and Kevin can come down to Ohio for a hunt!! Would love to see Rambo, and Kevin's female. I heard she is nice!! If Kevin is hunting her, I know she is!!

Congrats, I can say they are my breed of dogs and will alway be what I'm hunting. I owned Woody and Scream, which were full litter mates to Bubba. They are true COON DOGS!

Also there are at least 3 guys that posted on this thread that deserve as much credit as me for this line of dogs, so don't give me any credit!!! I give it all to the dogs anyway!!

Dewayne Arbaugh! Thanks man I do miss it. Also I am humbled that you have only made 3 post on this board and 1 of them was in my regard!!! I can't believe it, I just got off the phone with Doug Adams who was with me the night I first met you at Carrol and I get on the computer and there you were posting on my thread LOL!! Does anyone have a current set of UKC papers that could post Bubba's PAD? I think he had around 200 pups. I can think of 7 Grand Nites and 5 Nite Champions off the top of my head. I would assume there are a few more that I don't know about.

I regret not getting most of his early pups into Competition Hunter's hands, because that really hurts the percentages but I guess most studs early in their career face the same issue. At least studs owned by no name guys like myself

Nathan Rambo's paper are not current but have sent them in and will let you know but right now he shows 191 pups 5 grandnights 9 nightchamps add ranbo to that as well and any others that you know about in the last two years. Hopefully will have and accurate answer in a few weeks.
