i know all breeds can slick tree, but there are a lot of walkers that will do it. That shows you just how much tree power has been bred into them. But i wont single out walkers as slick treers.

This crap is getting old about walkers slick treeing. Make all the excuses you want but until another breed can accomplish what the walkers have just sit back and quit being jealous and talking nonsense about them. Instead of putting them down you should be concentrating on your own dog.

I have saw MORE slick treeing idiot's as walker dogs than other breeds. HOWEVER, if, you can get a walker dog that is ACCURATE, then, from what I have seen, you have got something really, really, really, special. I've seen a lot of accurate dogs of other breeds besides walker dogs. BUT, they were so weak in so many other areas that it didn't matter if they were accurate or not, they still weren't all that good. I'm sure this is not everyone's opinions or experiences, just mine.

I just got a bad pic of her on the tree. If you want to see her blowin the top off click the link on my signature.

But I did just purchase a AWESOME Blue English female from Dogwood English on here. First night I took her out when I got her back here to TN my walkers treed in a hole and ol blue went right by them about a 1/4 mile and fell treed with 2 up it. So I aint just a walker man.

I have a ? why do people have so much to say about other peoples dogs? One post on here said the walkers he has seen are slick treeing idiots.well if that is true he has been hunting with sorry dogs.I've had all colored dogs my personal experiance is the majority of WALKERS I have had were fine hounds, second were bluedogs but MINE did'nt have the hunt that WALKERS MY walkers have.It just seems that if walkers were not that great that most of the hunt winners would be another breed or at least a combanation of other breeds.I say hunt what you like have fun and dont put another persons hound down.jmo

it is

just a bunch of teasing... Slick treeing is found in all breeds.... Alot of it has to do with poor training/handling....

After about 35 minute's of tracking and a half mile later she had him!!!!Then we walked from the tree for about a minute or two,and turned her loose and she treed a kitten real quick. Not to bad for her 13th night out,Hanna the Rat pup was there too.She did alright. She treed some. How has your hunting been? Give me a call in the next few day's.I might give you a call when we get treed tonight. My dad and I are going with Bill.Talk to you later.
