*sigh*

Here is the story,

We bought a Male Harlequin Great Dane puppy back on 5/24/03. His Dad was supposably registered with AKC and the mom is registered with UKC. The dad's owners are planning on registering with UKC. Then both parents will be UKC registered and they can register the litter.


When we bought the puppy we where led to belive that the dad had papers, but they had not been filed yet, and they had sent them into AKC and it will be about 6 weeks before they get them back, THEN they would get him and the puppies registerd with UKC which if they did it fast, it would take about 3 weeks. ( this is what the MOTHER of our puppy's owner told us. )

It has been almost 2 months now, and I called the Mother of our puppy's owner and she gave me the number to the Dad of our puppy's owners, Because she said she did not know what is going on with the papers.( we bought the puppy from the Dad's owners. )

So I called the people who we bought him from, and she said that they never got the puppy papers when they bought the thier dog (My puppy's dad) because who they bought thier dog
from never sent the papers to them, and now they have moved, so she is trying to find them!

So basically, they never really had papers on thier dog, because they did not get the puppy papers when they first got them. And then they waited too long and the people who have the papers moved.

How long should I give them to find the papers before I go and demand my money back? We have it in writing that they would give us the papers as soon as they got them.

If I were you and what you tell me is correct, then I would return the dog and ask for my money back.
