Reproducer Question

When looking at the great all time reproduces no matter what the breed, can someone help explain to me why the littermates from the crosses that produced these hounds were or were not necessarily great reproducers???

Littermates dont carry identical genes, you get 50% from each parent, littermates could get diffent genes from each and the combination from each would create genitically different individuals.

Also, some probably werent used as much, advertised, ect.
