Ususually get together with the guys and do some small game hunting in the morning.

Then I'll hit the woods after dark. I'm hoping Briar comes up to hunt

No hoping about it, I will be there. The Toyota Paseo hunting mobile backseat is fenced in and ready for work.

Man I like to hunt as much as the next guy, but Man it is one day. If the family wants to visit, I'll visit. I bet there will be coons longer than some of them will be around. You gotta take advantage of seeing them while they are here, like it or not.

Have a good visit and then hunt.

Was a tradition, spend the day visiting and then take cousins and brothers and all the kids that want to go, for a coonhunt. Usually the group numbers 8 or 10 people or so. Haven't done this the past couple years, we need to get back to it.
Good family fun.

Hunting after any family gathering is a tradition here. Last night after dinner I took my 5 year old son, my 12 year old step-son, my 16 year old brother, and one of his friends from school. The boys had a wonderful time, and the dogs did a great job. Can't ask for more than that.
