Quick fix for broken holder straps on Tracker Flashlights

Drill 2 holes on each side of holder.Run a small electrical wire tie throught the holes and fasten together as shown below.

Run the collar throught the wire ties.

I use a piece of bicycle innertube to protect the ties from snagging and breaking. Cut a half moon cut in it as shown below.

Slide the innertube over the Flashlight. You will need to stretch it to get it on.

Thanks for sharing your idea.

The tube sleeve is a good idea but I've had only nylon tie straps on mine for two years and they are doing fine. I used a sodering iron to melt the holes instead of a drill.

It protects the wire ties. Keeps them from snagging on stuff and breaking them.

I take the rubber off when I buy them new. Then place it on the collar where I want it and mark two holes on each end of it. Burn holes where marks are or use a punch. Then zip tie it on to where the zip tie release will be to the outside. Have not torn or lost one yet.
