had an old bluetic do that before when she had a old sow that kept jumping out on her..
last tree she treed on i was close to her and she shut up and came toward me and turned like lassie on tv for me to follow her and i did.
she led me to a large sapling with the coon halfway up the tree, she just sat there and looked at it till i shot it out to her..
that was the only one she did that on.
another night she treed 3 coon in that same woods 20 yrs apart ,it was so foggy by the time i got on top of that hill ,u couldnt see 10ft in frount of u,she would tree 4-6 tree barks on one then go to the other till i got to her, shot 1 out and she'd go to the next, shoot it and to the 3rd she'd go..
by then i'm all turned around ,not knowing where the old ford van was and too foggy to see any stars/lights anywhere,,i put her on a long leash and grabed the 3 coons and told her lets go home,,and she started pulling on the lead,,i didnt have anything to loose if she went the wrong way, would have crossed a trail somewhere, but she took me straight to the van,,she ate good that night..
that old paperless blutic died of old age at my house...when you talked to her she would look u right in the eyes like she knew what you was saying...wish i could find another like her but i think they broke the mold after they made her.
