Garmin Question! Please read!

OK i have a question about my Garmin system, so here is the deal.... we bought two DC 40 collars, and we still are using the the Garmin ASTRO 220 hand held unit, so the problem is that when i hit the map button the map comes up but it doesn't show any roads or the mountain ridges??? All it shows me is a line from where my dog is and how far away he is from me?? when we had the DC 30 collar it would show me the mountain ridges and roads and where the cricks are, is it something with the new collars? I am considering getting the new Garmin Astro 320, if you have any information it would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Thanks! Casey

You need to reseat your card.

I think your card is not getting contact. Take it out and rub a rag on the contacts and replace back in. Make sure you get the lock seated in, also. About a year ago, I thought I had a junk card, just to find out that the card was not locked.

You can't go wrong with the Astro 320 and the Birdseye View. Once you use it you'll wonder how you hunted without it.

That's Great!! we have been working with our two pups and they are coming along nicely to! we did have a lot of trouble with Ticks also, That's the only thing that i don't like about hunting! we had Fred to a Money hunt and he won!!! I'm really happy with how he's doing in the Nite hunts!! I can't wait to get him to some UKC hunts in our area again!! I hope Jack keeps doing a good job for you!!!

i have the 320 and its great, not 100% but it sure makes things easy to tell what the dog is doing. was thinking on get the topo map for it but not sure if its worth the money or not.
