The use or possession and/or the accompanying of anyone using or possessing raccoon calls, squallers, weapons, ammunition, or climbers while training dogs is prohibited during training season, except raccoon calls may be used during authorized field trials.

Nope, it's the same as having a gun to them. At least it used to be last time I looked it up.

You would be charged with hunting out of season if you had a squaller in Tennessee.

they are some grazy laws back in the 60s a buddy and his brothers were hunting they got treed was shining the tree 1 of them had a sling shot in his pocket warden wrote him a ticket for having a implement of a weapon

I always have a squaller and always have a gun. I don't know what our rule is.. Never know when I might need to shoot something or defend myself

i usually squall with my mouth cause i cant member my coon squaller. i have a police buddy that stops by when iam at the truck after i get done with hunting, he told me to always carry a gun with me when iam out hunting cause theres some crazy people out here lol. i hate carrying a gun cause i walk so far so i what do is turn my light off before i get to the truck and watch how my dog acts, she will let me know if something aint right.

I bet that scares the bejesuits out of the wardens poaching round your truck. LOL By poaching I Mean, Do they have a Lisence to set a trap for dum_, animals / You know what I Mean.

lol lyle to be honest i aint never seen a warden were i hunt at, i think they got bigger fish to fry. now the poaching stuff they take that serious as a heart attack.lol

LOL Last time I saw a warden coon hunting was 1965. About ten years ago the dogs swam the River and I had to go home and get a boat and get back they were still treed so I killed the coon and had it and the dogs in the boat and got back to the landing. This was during Duck Season. I said to myself OH H , I got cheap Walmart bullets in this 22 made out of lead , he will for sure get me for not having steele shot. But the sun was getting rosie in the sky and since I was loading up before the duck hunters got there , he figured I was just coon hunting.He did not even make out to be a lawyer wannabe. He was reasonable to my delight.

i bet that was a long night right there, i didnt know they had steel 22 bullets. who would ever thunk it. i caught a bass last year and as i was putting it on the stringer a warden pulled up and he told me that bass was to small to keep, i said i didnt know there was a size limit on a fish, all i want is enough for supper. he said ill have to fine you if you dont turn it loose, so i turned it loose and said thank you.lol

i live close to r warden some nights walking back to the truck he will walk out behind a tree ask where is your gun ,,of course my reply is season is closed aint got one ,,well drive me back to the house and he will get in the truck and i take em home .cool ol cat but i know he would write me up for carrying a gun or squaller..as far as my mouth squalling it sounds like something is a dyeing lol
