How often do coon get caught by the dog?

Depends on the dog...and imo the time of year.....95% of the coon ive seen caught has been in the fall in standing corn...

A tight mouthed/silent dog is also more prone to "sneak up" on one...

Also if the dogs get on em and the coon runs somewhere odd it might happen...my dog and another stretched one as they came out of a culvert during a hunt one nite....

I dont see it a ton...maybe a few times a year...

Just curious this is the 3rd or 4 th mine has caught but like you said he is VERY. Tight mouthed
