A Great Houndsmen And Coonhunter Passed Away (larry Cloudy)
Larry Cloudy of Nacogdoches Texas passed away March 18,2012
Please keep his family and friends in your prayers.
For those that read this post that knew Larry Cloudy know that he truly loved the sport of coon hunting. He was very active in his local coon club and was always trying to keep the sport of coon hunting alive and keep the youth involved . As alot of you folks know that the sport is not as popular as it once was and to lose a true contributer to the sport like Larry is truly a great loss.Larry was always there to give advice on how to start or fix a problem with a young hound if asked. One night a few years back befor I moved to Tennessee I was talking to Larry on the phone about two young hounds I was starting and how one was coming on a little better than the other and I wasn't to happy with the lesser of the two.Little did I know then but he was about give me some advice that I would put to work in my hound trainning and every day life . Larry said no two people are the same and no two hounds are the same its up to you to figuer out what will help that hound get excited about doing its job. That was some of the best advice I have ever got . Please keep the Cloudy family in your prayers.
