Boy this dog is on a roll. Glad me and my buddy just had 10 Mr. Clean Pups 4 days ago out of his NiteCh and PKC Ch. I cant wait for mine to grow up.

thats good that a real coondog is the latest weekend wonder..
some of us got better things to do than keep up on who is the latest weekend wonder...

from what i seen of his ped. ,,he's bred to tree coon..

looks like all the dog traders will be takeing all their brood sows to him like they did lipper so they can make $500-$1000 off them puppys like they are starting ask for them now,,

I happened to be at Nevergone last Monday where all the Mr Clean semen is stored and there were 3 van loads of people there with a bunch of Bull Mastiffs. Some were being collected, some were being AI'ed. You don't even wanna know what they get for pups off those things , unless you are sitting down first.

People love to grouse about things that don't effect them. My bet is Wild Bill has never and will never buy a Clean pup at any price and wouldn't buy one for 5 dollars any quicker than he'd buy one for $1000. But still he gotta toss out his dog traders getting rich comment.

bull mastiffs,,if i remember right they sell for more than most people will pay for a full trained coondog..

as for me buying/feeding a clean pup,not going to happen ,,
not that i dont think he's a coondog,he's done proved he is a COONDOG,,
i dont like some of the dogs back in his ped.and dont think they would line up with what i breed for...
i could have bred to cleans daddy long before anybody ever heard of him ,but just not the right ped for my program.

as for throwing coondogs ,like anyother stud bred to the right females will produce better dogs,

as for dog traders getting rich,i guess i should said temp rich,
till they breed so many broodsows and clean gets a bad rap like the other studs that took the same heat cause of the inferior females that were bred to them ,
just in the name of selling puppys...

hope they screen the females bred to him ,so that dont happen,
only time will tell..

didnt he also win autumn oaks i sure would like to go to the woods with him. he has won everything nearly i think he won the akc world to. i will be breeding my sow to him you bet i love to competition hunt and would like to win the only way to get a good pup is try different crosses and get lucky. maybe you should try some clean in your breedin program willy you might get famous like brian

well i guess if you troll message boards its pretty easy to keep up with the latest weekend wonders. i guess you are another one of those breeders who has his own line. linebreeds because its faux pas not to. pretty hard for me to understand how you can tell you wouldn't want him in your breeding program without hunting with him or his offspring and just by his pedigree. and if he's a real reproducer he will be able to cover some of those brood sows. i like the dog but expect him to reproduce about normal. it would be great for the breed if he was a freak reproducer and could carry a bunch a worthless gyps. he sure as heck ain't gonna hurt the walker dogs a bit by mr. whitted trying to pass cleans traits on to the next generation.

sorry but i dont troll the boards to see who is the latest wonder.
and i dont breed title to title,,
i breed for natural coondogs,after feeding/breeding/hunting these walkers since the early 70's,i have seen enough to know what peds to stay away from with my program..i linebreed on what works for me,not what some clic likes...and it works so far..

i dont have the money or the time to waste on the hunts like i used to ,but if you ever see me sign a dog up in a hunt again,u can bet your last dollar i came with something to win ,not to have fun..

from what people been saying about clean ,sounds like he's like macks little joe was,,
he made treeing coon look easy and didnt waste time doing it..
another overlooked coondog in the breeding pen..

as you say i hope clean is able to pass his traits on to them sows and improve the walker breed as we know it needs the help with all the damage that has been done with the puppymills breeding to the every flavor of the month .

as for my program,it works for me ,it dont need any more skeltons from some outcross's that might throw a monkeywrench into things..

Clean is a perfect exaple of what guys are breeding to...papers! if they wanted to breed to a coon dog he should be booked up for next 2 yrs. I dont have a clean pup yet either, I dont have room right now but i gotta wonder....how can i make room for one. I dont keep up with pedigrees and wins like I should mainly because im fairly new but this dog is getting mojo type wins. there 2 of the most wining dogs ive seen and we all know how mojo reproduces.

thanks,,heres a sample of what i been doing with my program.
this female is around 11 now and run track and treed with the old dog first time at 7 months old and had to bulldog her to catch here off the tree,she wouldnt leave or be called off when we lead the old dog off..

her grandmother(samatha) on bottom was taken out with the old dogs just for exercize at 4 1/2 months old and showed the old dogs where the coon went to that they were wallering around at the creek,they were the old track blood type dogs that had too much track in them,,dont have any of it anymore,TOO MUCH TRACK ,lol

this is what works for me..
