I need some feedback. Looking at a guesstimate of what it would cost to erect a metal/steel building, enclose it, put in concrete floor, wire it, plumb it for water/sewer, insulate it. maybe 30'x40' w/ 2 doors & several windows. maybe an exhaust fan in the roof.

thanks. just exploring options.

I did one ten years ago. No water inside, no insulation 24 x 32 no exhaust fan, cost me 11k.

I say anywhere from 15 to 25k, depends if you do the work yourself or not. My dad had one built last year, but did his own electrical work his self. I know the price of chain link has triple in the past two years. so I would hate to see the price of a metal building.

When you say "erect" a steel building, do you mean a red iron building or a wood framed, metal side building? A red iron building would be a lot more. If its a stick framed building, 20k-25k would be on the conservative side if everything is sub contracted out. Location plays a role to. Good luck.

THERE IS A COMPANY CALLED TO DIMOND METELS THEY ARE A BUILDER OF THIS TYPE BUILDING THEY ARE LOCATED IN DENTON OR FARMER NC THIS IS NOT THE DOG BOX PEOPLE THEY ARE LOCATED ON THE 49 HWY I HAVE SOME FRIENDS THAT HAVE BUILT THESE BUILT THESE BUILDINGS.
