cleaning concrete pens

what is best to use to clean concrete floors of kennel without harming the hounds. thanks for any info.

i would put some rubber matting on top of the concrete its hard on thier feet i use creolene spary it on full strengh and scrub it with a good stiff broom then rinse it off it kills germs and fleas ticks and disenfects

Mine are sloped and I just use a hose with good pressure to wash them out. If you want to disinfect, mix chlorine and water in a 10% solution.

bleach......use it full strength...let it stay on for half an hr and then rinse wid water

After you get it good and Clean Acid Eatch with Brick Cleaner ....

Use Duron Epoxy Paints (2) coats and a Clear Epoxy cover coat .. These are the Same paints as the Garage Floor Coatings Only Less Exp !! .. We did our Welping kennels with it .. Clean Up is Easy and Disinfecting just takes a light Spraying ..

I use Krud Kutter from Lowes. It is a bit pricy at 15.00 a gallon but it is environmentally safe and is safe for people and pets. I feel it does a good job.
