OT Geese headed north tonight.

I heard or saw five flocks of geese tonight in this moonlight. Pretty cool. Judging by the scattered clouds they have a strong tailwind pushing them. I'm guessing they will be in Virginia or Maryland in the morning.

I too, heard them last night. I ran a med. call at 12:30 am and when I pulled into my driveway coming back and got out, I heard them plain as day. I LOVE it! Spring is on it's way!!! :O)

I heard geese, not woodcock. We usually flush them at night when the peepers start in early April. Scare the crap outta ya, fly straight up in front of your face.

Geese only migrate ,,when the lakes start freezing over..I saw something about this around a month ago on the news ,,and they said this year most Geese didn't have to go to far towards the south..

We have resident Geese here in Ky that live year round now. So your always hearing them flying over and honking.
