down right sickening

this is suppose to be a fellow coonhunter look what he wrote. it makes me sick to know a man would hurt or kill another human or dog.

he writes
Why do people want to continue to tresspass on other peoples hunting land when they have been told to STAY OFF ? Think Ill go put about 30 large steel jaw traps out where I coon hunt, leave them out for about a month and let the tresspassers that are on FB and read this and dont know all my places try to figure it out. when your dogs, or the dog you hunt for someone ele get hurt or killed, Id hate for that to happen, but maybe they will learn a lesson. STAY OUT OF OTHER PEOPLES HUNTING AREAS !!! And you know how you are. Go back to where you came from. We dont want you here !

Well, there is one less tresspasser in the woods tonight. That means, once convicted, they will no longer be abe to register a hound,or handle a competition hound that is registered with UKC,PKC,orAKC ever again. Im so glad that they have that writen in their rules and By-laws.

i believe this man has a club in alabama if im not mistaken.

...I wouldn't hurt anybody's dog.............the DOG doesn't know he's got a POS trespasser for an owner................as a farm owner AND a coonhunter, I WILL have somebody prosecuted that trespasses INTENTIONALLY..........NOT a case where some boys dogs get over a property line where they have permission to hunt............not the same thing by any means.............y'all want strangers slippin' in and killin' all the coons, more power to ya.....I dont...............PS--I let ALOT of folks from our local coon club hunt my place with permission..............

I don't own the coon nor any other wild animal but I do own the land and pay property taxes on it, so what do the tresspassers own?

If people are blatently going on your land call the law. Then they have no excuses when they get caught.

I know alot of people that hunt on other peoples spots they don't own and people often get mad. Same with deer hunting, almost like they have a right to the deer and coon.

Everybody that coonhunts with me knows they can coon hunt on my place.Anybody that doesnt can go get there dogs without me but dont sneak back there just drive right by the house.Intentionally hurting a mans dog isnt right,Id rather somebody come after me then go after my dogs.A man can have 120 acres to hunt and the dogs wont always stay on that 120 acres.

Hey if somebodies dog trees on my land I have no problem with you getting your dog once or twice, just don't lie to me that you dropped ol spot 2 miles away on land you really got permission to hunt on. I support michigan's right to retrieve law but it and our "nuisance coon control law" creates some problems with my fellow land owners when they are abused.

I just dont get this post at all....
I thought we were some kind of family, that rallies together... ban together and fight for our rights to hunt..
now seeing this post gets me wondering about all of this..
Jeez Whiz, i got to be careful where I drop my dogs now.. cuz some crazy dude decided to rig up boobie traps for my dog.. and maybe for me.. this world is becoming a DANGEROUS place to live...
Man, I just dont know anymore.. shaking her head...
Lets work together People......
the government and the antis are already making it hard for us to hunt with hounds.. lets make it harder for us... by setting up boobie traps and such....

Anyone is allow to hunt with hounds on our hunting spots... the way I see it as long as they dont go crazy on killing coon... and just tree.. HECK YEAH man... TREE ON!!!!!

here is insert
in reality, we pay taxes to have permission to do something with that land that we pay for. If you dont pay your taxes you lose that permission and ability. so in reguards the town, county, state, and federal government owns the land and they can take that away.. so basically you pay the biggest lump sum say $200 an acre then you pay the taxes on top of that to have permission to do whatever you want.. as long as you keep the payments coming but as soon as you dont the government comes in and takes it all away..

family?

What kind of family trespasses and takes advantage of other ppls belonging? I do not put up with trespassing of any kind! I fully support a person standing up for what's his/hers. Of course harming dogs and wanting to "kill" some one is extreme. I have no problem allowing ppl to hunt on my land WITH PERMISSION! But for someone to do it behind my back is crossing the line. I know if I catch someone trespassing you can bet ill make them understand what no trespassing means!

We are all considered hunters it don't matter deer or coon if we can't work and hunt together our sports will die. Putting out traps to catch someone's dog is stupid. What if it were a 10 year old kids dog that just got out of pocket how would you feel then. Kinda ruined the sport for him don't u think. Owning land is one thing but its just a coon and its just deer grow up. Take care of your issue another way.

we are all hunters

So we all have responsibilities and laws we must follow. If you take a kid hunting is it better to teach them that trespassing is ok? Or is it to much trouble for someone to do the right thing and seek permission to go on another persons property? Why is it such a big deal to ask permission? Would you tolerate someone you didn't invite to come into your home? Even if it was just to make a sandwich? I doubt it. Why? Because what's yours is yours! Even though it was just a sandwich. again we are all hunters but as such we must realize that doesn't give us permission to trespass. having the title "hunter" doesn't exclude us from ppl protecting their property. I understand this, so I never put myself in the position of defended against.

I did not say the kid was trespassing his dog got out of pocket dogs see no boundries its too late to ask permision when your dog is dead in a trap. So why would another coon hunter want to harm another man's dog. Deal with tresspassers as they come not the dogs.

no

We are 100% in agreement that harming a dog is not the thing to do. I think purposely setting traps for dogs is low down! I'm not wanting to start a fight, I just believe in protecting what's yours. If ppl are to much of a coward to confront ppl who trespass, then they are just as big a problem as ppl breaking the law. Their is no need to set traps for ppl in the dark. Grow a pair stand up for what's yours but do it the right way! Not by boobie traping stuff

most of us are guilty of tresspass at some point it happens go to a hunt your at the guide's mercy and hope he does have permission as we walk pass no trespassing signs ! i do own land and do not post i grew up close by and everyone around here knows me i have thousands of acres to hunt with permission and can even ride my 6x6 on alot of it. treat those as you would want to be treated goes along ways around here. there are a lot of deer camps around here but since i don't hunt deer i'm welcome to hunt all i want. i have caught guy's coonhunting on my property and gone in to see who's hunting scares the crap out of them and they just don't know what to say when i say hunt on i just want you to know that i know your here !!! for the guy that puts out traps i hope he catches his own dogs first and have had several dogs caught in trappers sets over the years no broken legs but it does lame them up for a couple weeks
