not sure if there are two Finley River Jacks but Lonnie Mears had a dog called mears finley river jack a few years ago. How old is f.r. jack that bob has in missouri?

13 or so, he is old..He isnt a titled dog, and he was never Lonnie Mears dog. He is an old finley river coon treer though.

This Jack dog AKA Slick, only has 23 pups on the ground. He was a coon treer so my buddy had a FR female that is a track dog deluxe bred to him. You could put Jack in the woods with other dogs that couldnt strike a track, and Jack would tree a coon.

Did Slick come from Illinois?

Seems like we tried to breed a gyp to the Hayes Joe dog a long time ago.

Joe was in Peoria, Illinois if I'm not mistaking.

Finley River Tucker

Hi,

The JJ dog produced the Jake dog and old Tucker. Coon dogs that you treed coon with when other dogs couldn't. Still have the old Finley River flowing in my dogs. Check out my threads for pedigrees and pictures. JJ was out of the Trap dog I raised and sold to Tom Wilbers. Tom owned Trap all her life despite what a big name breeder has told people. She was in the SWTWA Hall of Fame as of 1995. She was bred to 3 different stud dogs and reproduced out of all 3.

Hi,

I forgot about her. Brent Denniston owned her. Brent lives in Nebraska. Call him and ask him about her ability. She died when she was 3 years old, if I remember correctly. She was drowned by a coon out in a big beaver pond. He owned Dual Gr. Ch. Finley River JJ. He put all the wins on him. He also owned Dual Gr. Ch. Trap's Finley River Slick. Cane River Trashy Trudy will be bred to Jack this fall. Was going to breed her this go round but she came in two months early and I wasn't ready for the haul to Missouri. Jeff Jackson and Matt's young dogs out of Jack should make as good a track dog as a man could ever ask for.

A driver female x jack cross will be nice roger . I will have to stay in the loop and follow those pups. Bob has that lefty dog up there too that is supposed to be nice. I was gonna bred Molly to him but decided I didn't have the time for a liter of winter pups

I have three in the back yard that are out of jacks daughter. I might quit when they die cuz, I don't think I could find any around here that could hold a candle to them. I don't comp hunt but a lot of guys want to hunt with mine to see if they are ready for comp hunt with. Also I think its funny to take some one that jut won a big hunt aroud here and knockem down a notch.
