Benefit Of A Doubt Video

Here is a video clip of me and a buddy hunting some Curs last night.

http://youtu.be/zQ-H-frix7U

The first tree was my buddy's dog and no coon could be found. My buddy is like me, he doesn't make excuses for his dog, but, we were out very early and I believe his Cur treed a late running squirrel.

The second tree was made by my Cur Kate and speaks for its self. My buddy's dog was on a split tree and he said it was a den,

The 3rd tree was made by Kate and is where the doubt comes from. Kate treed up a small tree that clearly went into a big cottonwood that was a den. I thought I could see a coon tail but I was not positive. My buudy didn't see the tail but he did see a possem up the tree Kate was on. Kate will tree a possem but not often and when she does, she gets corrected. I didn't correct her on this tree because in my opinion, she could have treed a coon in a tree that just happened to have a possem in it. I know I would have recieved minus points in some registries, a line through the points in others and if another cast member had seen the coon tail, she probably would not have got plus points. Well, I reckon I can live with that but in my mind, she may have treed a coon.

Me and my buddy work hard to break our Curs from possems.

Here is a video of my English Coonhound Penny. There is no doubt what she is treeing when she trees and she usually has the meat.
