Tritronics or Sportdog

Which shocker do uns like best. I have a classic 70 G2 but have never been happy with the distance and everybody says the Trashbreaker isn't much better just a waste of an extra $100.

i dont think you can beat a tritronics i have the older trash breaker and love it i also had the classic 70 g2 that you have used it on my beagles never had any problems with either you say your not happy with the distance it has alot to do with the type of terain you hunt if you hunt in real hilly country you need to get up high so the signal will carry jmo

My next shocker will be a sport dog 2500. I currently have a tri-tronics g3 trash breaker, I am not happy with the range of the g3. Guy I went hunt with some got a 2500 sport dog that seems to have better range than my trash breaker.

The older TriTronics Trash Breaker Ultra II is pretty hard to beat in my book

The sportdog seems to have a little better range; then it turns three months old and breaks.

Cory hit the nail on the head to me....sportdog has better range but they don't hold up I wouldn't owned one....tri tronics may not always have the best range but they hold up along time from my experiance

I went from Sportdog to Tri Tronics ...I'm very satisfied with the change. Sportdog has a good warranty and I promise you will use it, I sent back a couple for customers before I quit dealing with them. I only stock Trash Breakers because I feel that's the best one out there.

Tri Tronics is a nice system I just bought another G3 Trashbreaker exp and it has not let me down on distance yet, and I live in s IN on the river where we do have some nice hills. and the Tracer lights are preety sweet when i'm close to the road. Tritronics is the way to go.

I've got an older sport dog unit that works fine. The problem is the handheld unit is so long that it is a pain to carry. They seem to take a long time to charge also.

Tri-tronics is what we have always used. From my experience they make a quality product that will last, never experienced any problems.

Tri tronics by far but they keep changing things to make the looks of it better. WHO CARES!!!! I understand that it is a marketing pitch but for a hunter who really worries what they look like. Unless the guy is a little of the funny side then we need to quit. Tri tronic g2 trashbreaker
