Bellar's Treaded Lumber

The only Hound I ever hunted that gets treed most ever time I turned him loose doesn't tree in ground, can get very deep and The MOST ACCURATE. Lots of readers of Lumber threads know I have spent lots of time in the woods with Lumber. He is a number One coon hound, So I have seen some of the amazing things He has done. He just turned two years in Nov.

The Hunts, And New Attitute

I was never much good as a handler in the hunts. I am going to try and change this in 2012 hunts, Learn two cope with the younger gents and pick up some pionters and have some FUN. See ya soon boys. Boys is just a hillbilly term for you guys, you men or you fellows. It's just my old fashion way. LOL

Shep

I can't remember Shep's pedigree. I never hunted with the Deamon dog. You are talking about WC Deamon.

Had good hunt tonite

My Son, Grandson and I took Lumber, Chief and little SunDown Hank a pup my Grandson gave to my granddaughter. The Hounds really made some noise. They made three trees and we shot out two coon. This was just before the snow came in. Had to do some deep walkin on couple those trees. Lumber the two Mr. Clean Pups and the other an 8 month old pup Little SunDown Hank, Hank is loaded up in is thrid gen with great names Stylish Harry, Pac Lady, Pac-Man ,Stylish Coma on top and bottom side is loaded Manic JR, Hamming Earl, Rat Attack, Sackett Jr, top and bottom. The first tree was a hot track and they really had me pumped, should have heard all that music.

Always cocking her head in kennel as if she is thinking when spoken too, I really like this. This is something I notice about Spring Creek Rock the first time I saw him in the 70's.

Good looking hound. I have never seen flat land like that. Must be nice and easy to hunt. Your lucky

I am a Hillbilly living up here

In gods country! I guess the worst is when we have thawl out in late march or april walking a fence row sinking in mud 4 to 6 deep to get to woods can get tiresome, bout like walking up hill. Just got home the hounds made some trees we saw some coon don't get much better!

Candy

She is 3 Years old and a nice hound. Good locate hard tree dog good striker and track drifter. She will get by herself pretty accurate but she is out of shape right now. I will fix that! I will prolly have her here for a while. She belongs to JR Hall ( BO ). Bo has paid me up front for hunting her.

Candy and Lumber

I haven't hunted Candy and Lumber together yet. I hunted with Candy up at Bo's place thursday night 2-3-12 and here at my area 2-4-12. I hunted her from dark to midnight then my Son, Granddaughter and Grandson hunted her on thur 4 am. She flat out treed some coon with Granddauther's 9 month old SunDown Hank gett'n split treed. We really like Bo's female Candy and my Granddauther is in another world her little SunDown Hank!!

Candy and Lumber

Not a coon safe when I turn these two lose together. They will burn the ground get struke and Treed together or 40 feet apart and locked down. What a pair of hounds, only bad thing is, nethier one belongs to me. Exciept after the this cross and I will have some of both worlds.

it's probably safe to say that Lumber will stay at your house so he might as well be yours.

To Jim Hill

I keep thinking about How simple you made it sound, I over come my quick to call OLD SELF and called Candy when She struke and Treed Her only when She broke into Her Hard Chop, Winning my cast and 3rd place Registered Dogs at Silver Lake, In .

Thanks again Jim for making it sound so simple! and oh yea had a great time with some good Hounds and Handlers.

Braxton, Lumber and Me

4 place AKC Indiana State Championship April 2011, Then in Picture, King of Hunt Walker Sectional the next week. I am going to concentrate on Candy's Nite Championship until she comes in heat, then make Lumber Nite Champion before she has pups I hope. This is the most I have hunted in 25 years, just another go at it with the Kids.
