R.I.P. Jake

He was the best coondog and friend a person could ask for. The cancer finally got to hi last night got to bad and had to put him down. He is finally in no pain. Hardest thing ive had to do and also first time ive cried in 10 years

SO SORRY!

Lost our bluedawg to cancer over a year ago and still miss him tons.... and had to put an old kitty to sleep this morning for her facial tumor..... CANCER... Hope some day we can All work towards a cure for all cancer... in animals and especially in humans!

thanks yall,

i just wish he wouldnt have gone down hill starting on a friday when the vets closed till monday he was bad enough on saturday he needed to be put down but i wantde to wait till monday so the vet could do it with the painless way. well on sunday night he got to were he couldnt stand up and was constantly dryheaving so i just went ahead and did it. The way i did it i can only hope he didnt feel much because there was no flinch or anything.

I'd bet anthing your old boy would thank you if he could. The way you talk about him leads me to believe he loved you as much as you did him and he knows you'd never do anything to hurt him and as much as it hurt you to do that it put him in a much better place. Hang in there, Al
