Night hunt scenario??

Tonight had a dog put a coon in a pipe, could hear the coon fighting the dog but couldnt actually see the coon. The pipe was just big enough for dog and couldnt see past her. Now I could have dug the other end of the hole out and seen the coon but you cant dig holes in night hunt. So how would that be scored? after time out would have been called i dug dog and coon out the other side. Would you just be screwed?

If you had treed the dog then you can call time and you have one hour to get the dog out. Because he has to be handle before you can score him. Once the dog is out and handled then time is back in and you score the coon. If he could make contact with the coon then the coon is considered caught and you plus his strike. If it couldn’t make contact then his tree points can be plussed
