I went through the SAME THING years ago with a light. They should REPLACE THE PIECE OF JUNK !!! But yet all these people are still running out and paying $400 and $500 for a $50 light and then it breaks within less than a year and yet more people keep running out and paying the same OUTRAGOUS prices and getting ripped off. These light people are making a KILLING and seting back laughing all the way to the bank while us common coonhunters are literally left IN THE DARK.

I went through the same thing. Couldn't even get the ppl on the phone to explain my issue. I called Tims Lights and they sold me the best light I have owned to date! They are great ppl to deal with and are always willing to help.

They won't send you a new onebut they will keep messing you around till the warranty is up.Then they will say sorry about your luck, but we can sell you a new one. Tell them you would like to talk to a manager, and imform him/her you will give them some free advertisement on these sight's.Some how they seem to find a problem that they can't fix and send you a new light .

The Light Connection has been the best light I have ever owned by far.

It has lasted me for many years and still works like new and is extremely bright.

Long burn time too (and now I have an LED head so that made it even longer).

I wouldn't trade it for anything unless it was one made by Bruce Conkey. He has always treated me right and got things shipped to me quicker than I thought possible.

Exact same things just happened with me dealing with K-Light, nothing like spending 350 for new light, less than year later have to send it back twice n two weeks to get it fixed . This was me having to pay shipping to them twice, without even an offer to pay for there mistakes. Last K light I ever own and if anyone asks me what king of light to buy, K Light will b second to last, last being an East Fork

We have all had problems. Some of the worst problems I have had have been with the suppliers that get their praises sang for how they will take care of you. Costumer service is the name of the game. Someone with a mediocre product can keep their business running with good customer service. Years ago I bought a pair of hip boot from a supplier. This supplier has tons of fans that will tell you they are the best. The pair of boots I got from them didn not have the seam glued. The first time I got in the water I was soaking wet. I called them and told them about it. They said send them back, simple as that. What I wanted to here is “I’m sorry I don’t know how that got past us send it back and we will pay the shipping”. With that sentence they would have kept my business. Instead I glued them myself and will never do business with them again.

The answer to your question is depends on who’s fault it is. They can’t send you a new light if the problem is abuse. I’m not saying this is the case. It might just be a poor product or they got a bad batch of electronics.

With the new powerful LED heads there is a heat issue. The old 5100 heads had the same issue only the battery would not burn them long enough to expose the problem. If you could run a 5100 head on high for as long as you can a LED head it would melt it. So with the LED heads everyone is running them full blast all the time and degrading the electronics even if they are heat sinked properly eventually you will have an issue. The guys that treat them like they did the 5100 heads hardly ever have a problem.

The flickering on low is a switch problem that usually happens with the rheostat heads. In my experience you don’t see it as much with a push button or click switch. When you turn it down real low it is right on the edge of turning off. So you get the flicker. Either that or the PWM switch they are using is not designed to go that low. So your eye picks up on the flicker.

The bottom line is give your business to the ones that make you happy.
