is a 2 month old hound too young to start to train to coon hunt?? the hound has very good bloodlines... please let me know what ya think

( 2 month old pup ) Takeing the pup out for (short trips) to the woods is not a bad thing. It gives the pup some hauling experience , and I wouldn't make it long hauls for the time being. It also gives the pup time to explore all the different smells of the woods. If there is a small stream even better. (By him or her self is important.) Nothing wrong with a little exposure to the woods.Short day time exposure is all he or she really needs right now. JMO

Get a copy of "Walk with Wick" by John Wick. It is a great book that discusses issues like these.
