Subject: Pitbulls

The Union Tribune is conducting a survey in an effort to push for a ban on pitbulls in San Diego county. In areas where a ban has been instituted, such as Denver, EVERY pitbull was murdered even sweet loving family pets that never did anything wrong!!!
This is a wonderful breed, but unfortunately they are the dog of choice for thugs, drug dealers, illegals & the irresponsible.
THIS BREED SHOULD NOT BE BANNED!
Also consider which breeds would be next - cattle dogs? sheperds? dalmatians? goldens?
boxers? chihuahuas? rottweilers? Any dog can be provoked to bite, it is the owner's respnsibility to train, control, etc.
PLEASE call the U.T. to vote against a ban. It is all automated.

i dont see where pitbulls have anything to do with coonhounds ? those sweet loving pitbulls you call killed a innocent two year old girl in huntington wv , this was a family pet that they owned for years that turned all at once and grabbed her around the throat . i do agree about the pet of choice for thugs and what not's , but most hound events have signs everywhere stated no pitbulls allowed , so i dont see why its allowed on a " COONHOUND " page either !

This topic does NOT apply only to Pit Bulls. With BSL, AR groups such as HSUS/PETA/ASPCA, etc. can limit breeds & SPECIFIC TYPES one-by-one with vague language that can encompass types and/or size, effectively limiting your 4th amendment rights as well as removing owners from responsibility to control and train their dogs.
The AR groups have already classified hounds as vicious and HSUS has statements in print stating a goal of eliminating HOUNDS & hunting.
How many HOUNDS have been taken out of pens or removed from the woods while hunting, never to be seen or heard of again? HSUS & PETA have essentially the same mantras.

FYI - BSL is BREED SPECIFIC LEGISLATION

"FYI" put ur post on a pitbull page ! iam not calling nothing toll free to save a pitbull , period !!!! if your post was a ban on coonhounds then i might consider it . iam the only one who posted on here because noone else care about pitbull problem's either ! iam just stating my opinion - but i will voice it when it comes to this matter - good day to you .
