Hobo died this weekend after complications from a twisted stomach. I believe he was 9 years old. he was currently owned by Jack Royal from Leary Georgia.

Hobo was born at my place and raised and trained by Trent Stanley. Trent spent countless hours with him as a young dog and it showed. He won a ton of local hunts, qualified for the World numerous times and finished 2nd in the 2006 Triple Crown running neck and neck with Jet 8 all the way thru the zones. Regardless of what he did in the Nite Hunts I can personally vouch for Hobo's ability in the woods and he could really impress you. He was a track running, cold nose dog that was extremely accurate and just a all around great hound!

RIP 'ole buddy maybe you and your daddy can tree one together some night!

THIS IS VERY SAD NEWS TO HEAR ABOUT! WE KNOW WHAT A SPECIAL HOUND HOBO WAS TO YOU BOTH. IT'S ALWAYS HARD TO LOOSE ONE BUT TO LOOSE A GREAT ONE IT'S TOUGH TO SWALLOW. ESPECIALLY ONE WITH SUCH A LOVEABLE ATTITUDE AS HE HAD.

WE GOT THE OPPORTUNITY TO HUNT WITH HIM ONE TIME, THAT WAS AN AWESOME WEEKEND NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN!

im already workin on it. we have a full littermate sister to hobo that was pretty good also. got a few ideas on a good cross. i may have slowed down, but definately havnt quit. bubba made a blever out of me and a will do my best to carry it on. not with the original pure country plan, but just enough to keep it going! thank you everyone it means alot to me to no that so many people even heard of hobo. been pretty tough round the house for a few days, but its time to get goin. i would like to personally thank jack, sheryl, and brad royal for doing everything they could. and nathan thanks to you also! kurt thanks for everything, by the way i bought hobo back on friday at walker days.
