blitz pups and dogs

Are there very many tri colored dogs out of blitz or are most of his pups red? And does anyone have some pic of his pups if so I would like to see them

Man Baker I thought people said blitz didn't throw pretty dogs!! Lol congrats on ur win again buddy. Sure do wish I knew where that pups parents are. Wouldn't mind have one of them pretty hard hunting blitz dogs!! Lol

I have a grandpup coming off of a Blitz female. Pup is out of IFC Butkus. I hope to get a little size off of the female and the extreme hunt I have heard of from Blitz!! Track power and extreme hunt would be okay I guess?? LOL

My son and I have the pleasure of owning both Blitz and his littermate sister Fly. When you bred to Blitz you can get the color of the rainbow in pups. We have had blueticks, redticks, tri-colors and red puppies. We have had nothing but red pups out of him when bred to a red females and on occassion nothing but tri-color when bred to a tri-color female. The picture (following and posted thanks to Donnie Baker)is of a litter of pups not quite a week old 3 reds and 4 tri-colors though we think that the two whiter pups will become blueticks like their momma. Hope this helps you all!

He usally throws dogs that hunt hard and good steady track dogs. Also puts the desire to hunt all day weather its 20 or 90 degrees!!

Blitz

Here is the thing. It is hard to remember they are still dogs and can be beat by anything on a given day. I like Blitz bred dogs for the simple fact to win somthing big you will have to repeat time and time again. On a big hunt no matter the weather you will have to win a few cast including handling the dogs multiple times... in and out of a dog box... laying them up over night or for just an hour or so. I have owned and seen a lot of hounds (good ones) that will slow up on the hunting being mooved a lot or living in a dog box for 3 or 4 days straight. Blitz breeds hunt and hunt is something a person cannot make a dog do... I do this for fun but I want to be the best I can be at it. Breed for brains and the rest will come!

Ackley is about as good looking tri-color as I have saw. I have some white river pups here that I thought were as pretty as I have seen but I think yours takes top prize. I'm going to breed my white river female to gus and I think the results will be close to your dog. By the way whats his bottom side look like. I know whats on top side. Anyway super nice looking dog.

Momma is Highbar's Wild Flyin Black Berry she is sired by Mavarics Blue Barry (Akc 2x national large pack champion) and her momma is Blitz's littermate sister flybye Hope that answers your question?

Ackley is bred with a little show and a lot of go!
Jeffry Roberts is getting ready to make this cross again and from what I have it will be a nice one.

I intend on hunting Ackley in most hunts this year and showing what he has. This coming year we are going to breed him a little so if you or anyone you know is interested pm me or give me a call. You can watch him run anytime. With a pack or solo...

We are also breeding HBCRCH Bakers Rollin Red Fire To Blitz

Jason Prater has in my opinion one of the best crosses of blitz due soon. The females mother was bred to blitz several years ago and still today was one of or the best crosses ever made with blitz. Her mom was gridiron fort and ten Toni. The whole litter were exceptional dogs.

Crowtowns prolly right! I have heard a lot about that cross. I have never met prator but man from what iv heard he's a man that knows how to make good crosses with blitz! Marc and jason someday I wanna go run with u all. Have ran with marc and we had fun but jason I would love to get a chance to visit with u!! anybody that can make crosses like u have is well worth sitting down with and picking ur brain!! Lol

ohhhh jeeez it's getting deep around here now.........Prater might actualy believe the stuff you are saying lol!! Hey Jdog is finally starting to walk on a leash Prater!! hahahaha.....toni was a great reproducer as was sadie as is blitz!! but they are just dogs and they don't suit everyone, just people who like hunting dogs mostly. I was really banking on hummel making the chipp and toni cross again that was a total dog cross!!! its always a shame when the good ones pass!!!! get the apple off the tree as long as u can and when it's gone hope you have another that can produce something close!!!

Well yall can have all them pretty dogs. One of those ugly red ones in that pan is mine and I am tickled to death. Hope she has that Blitz hunt. If she does I can deal with looks which are pretty good in my book.

thanks guys for the compliments... but really the job of breeding the dogs and raising puppies is the easy part...the guys who train and finish the pups into what they have become are the real winners...shaun glad to hear jdog is coming around finally... thanks buddy !!
