I wonder if anyone has any news regarding the APBT for single registration (UKC) for APBT of ADBA.
Some official position!
Will complete one year on April 30 that the UKC has closed the single registration to a sudden!
Recalling were 15 days of notice until closure of the single registration UKC in April 2010.
Many comrades have done create crossing between ADBA and UKC dogs finally get to see ships! People who were caught by surprise!
Many modern blood lines were born of this union is successful that between dogs ADBA and UKC.
Breeders who sought to combine different phenotypic selections, making them further complementary!
That's beautiful, is genetic variability!
Unfortunately it will be increasingly rare due to the closure of single registration (UKC) for APBT of ADBA!
I particularly credit that it may hinder the preservation of the true APBT, strains rarer dogs traditional, old school.

We do not know what the ADBA's status is on the registration of APBT's. You can, however contact them yourself. Their phone number is: (801) 936-7513. They are located in Salt Lake City, Utah.

We are 2 separate registries, therefore we each have our own policies regarding registration. We do not know what their policies are.

Russel Diego was trying to ask if UKC had thought about opening to ADBA dogs at some point in the future. When a LOT of dogs who had UKC papers were sent to Brazil many litters were not kept up in UKC for various reasons but were registered ADBA. The dogs he has are pretty much all from some foundation UKC lines and he and the others down there would like to fix the mistake and get their dogs registered like they should be.

Many of the people down there do not speak English so the closing of the books meant something totally different to them. Speaking online with him from the gist of the translator, they thought the closing meant you (UKC) were no longer letting people call/email you with pedigree requests. The fact that the single registration closure was the actual topic was MOST definitely lost in the translation!

That is his issue pretty much in a nutshell.

Would there be any way for the Brazillian folks to appeal this due to the language barriers? Plus many don't know too much about the American sites so didn't get the original notice. Just trying to help.

They would have to send in signed statements explaining why we should make an exception for them, however I can tell you that we have not made any exceptions for anyone else and I do not think we will, but they can go ahead and send in signed statements for review.

So you can register a APBT that's registered thru UKC AS OF RIGHT NOW , but I need to register him ADBA ONLY to breed to one of my females which happens to be the smartest dog ever not a trick she can't do and if she don't know it she learns it in 1 too 2 days she also trained all my pups how to do tricks and potty trained them all she is so smart she teaches them all she knows can I register my ukc Apbt dual with ADBA I know ukc don't do it but does ADBA allow ukc Apbt ??? I checked their website and it says absolutely nothing! Thank you all and God bless

The ADBA does register APBT's, but I don't know what their requirements are...This is something you need to contact them about.
