Coonin

Connie Ross and I made a round last night, and managed to see a coon. Two Kemmers and a Walker.

First, Wally, 4 year old Kemmer,

Second, Wally again, with a brindle Kemmer pup, and a Walker gyp,

I see you have to run hounds with them Kemmers to tree anything. Make sure you drag the hound off the tree, before you take the pic.

Well, for you information, old Wally looped out to around 450, and while circling back, hit the track and treed the coon on the outside.

Now, how about you posting a pic or two of your dogs, of whatever breed you have, on the tree. Oh wait, I forgot, you can't catch your dogs. Well, maybe you could ride your mule up close enough to snap the pic, well, wait again, I forgot, you can't catch your mule either.

Maybe the best thing for you, would be just sit in an orchid field and just catch butterflies.

A man simply posts a few pic about an enjoyable hunt he had. Then another man just can't wait to start an argument.Shouldn't this site be about sharing hunting triumphs and disappointments and sharing information and encouragement and knowledge? Just a thought.

Sounds good Danny,

I almost called you last night to see if you wanted to make a round with Connie and me, but the wind was blowing like a doggone hurricane, and the snow was pounding, so I figured you would think I was crazy and hang up on me, lol.

Maybe we can get out Saturday night if you don't have anything going on.

I would love to be able to go but I have to judge a bench show at Mt. Washington club Saturday night. I'll give you a call this week though.

Thanks fellas,

Ray, Wally is a calm, laid back type of dog, though his hunting style is wide open, but, on the tree, or anywhere else, he don't pay any attention to anything another dog does, unless a dog puts a tooth on him.

AMEN my friend.. Dogs seem to be getting along fine, color/size/
and breed doesn't seem to bother them.. They're just trying to please their master...

And some day we will have to also..
