FYI- Southern MN hunting dog enthusiasts

I received word today from a concerned trapper that MN Trapper's Association is proposing some changes to they're snaring regulations including opening the snaring season along with water set season (late October) vs early December and also proposing reducing the check regulation to 3 days vs daily.

I'm still in the process of gathering info, but I encourage each of you to check into this and make some noise about it.

I don't know many hunting dog enthusiasts that don't run dogs in the months of October & November. Accidental catches is due to increase if these proposals go through.

I'll post back when I get more info.
