Would like to share a pleasant beagling experience, which reminds me of why I love the sport and the meeting of fellow beaglers. Don McVay was gracious enough to have me down to his place to run one of my female beagles with I.F.C. Greenbay Butkus, as I am always looking for a worthy stud. We cast the hounds at 9 a.m. on a fresh fallen 4"-5" of new snow. The hounds did a fine job of jumping and running rabbits. Seen the hounds walk and grubb when they had too, and run hard when they could. Seen Butkius come rolling off a bank eyeballing the 7" leaps the rabbit was making in the new snow and make the turn when the rabbit turned. This is a nice hound fellas, great mouth used correctly, good hunt and always under control. Well deserving of his I.F.C. title I'm sure. Found a worthy stud!

Don McVay IS ALWAYS gracious and a fine man ! Butkus just does what he does , run to catch like a I.F.C. should great hound !

I bred a Female to Threat a few months ago. I had trouble with the paperwork and like to never got him his pup papers. Most people would have just figured I had ripped them off or posted somthing bad about me on a websight like this one. Don was very nice about the situation and give me all the time I needed to get the papers straight. I know it costed him money and I still feel bad about it... but a good guy... Don is!

Don and Dave are both a couple of the most Honest guys that I've ever ment in a long time. Don knows his dogs and what they will do.They both keep their eyes open at the trials and can reconize a good hound on the ground and the dogs kennel name dont matter to them. If you need something in your bloodline and if you can stand a honest opioion on where to find it (thats if they dont have it in threir kennel)Don's the man to see. They are good help,Great Guys that really want to better a bloodline than to make a dollar. If you ever trust anyone, these are two guys that you should..They both are few and far between.
- No you guys dont owe me for this one, its on me..lol
