Got one for Christmas and love it!! You can tell a little weight difference between it and the 5100 heads but not enough to make me want to ever switch back.

Light

Had mine for several months now and I am extremely pleased with it. It is a very dependable well made product that has not let me down once I have mine on a 28 volt pack with no interference to the garmin.
As far as the weight what little weight it does add is due to the quality of the product. It is metal which disipates the heat allowing for a brighter longer lasting led which is at ran by high output drivers. You wil not be dissapointed with this head It is super bright bright enough that I no longer carry a spot light. It Is reliable and can go a truly long time on one charge.

HOW DOES IT OPERATE

How many bulbs is there? Do you continue to push the button to bring on more bulbs ? And do you still use the reostat on the battery to turn it up and down ?
