How do I know if my astro needs updated? Where do I update it. The only update i saw on the garmin website were 2.40 I think.

ryan85,the best way I've found to update your unit is to go to Garmin's website and download and run the web updater program. Make sure you plug your astro into a usb port on your computer after installing the web updater. the program will find your unit and download the latest update. This updates the astro only. You can also use the web updater to update your collars also just go to the upgrade dog unit screen on the astro with the collar on and within a few inches of the astro the web updater will pick up the collar you are updating thru the astro.
