East Fork Cap Light Charger?

2 Questions, when the green light is on does that mean it's fully charged, or does it go off when it's charged?

What is the metal piece on the charger for? I'm assuming it's just to hold the cord out of the way so you can put the "key" in the hole?

u put the peice of metal in back of head, then u turn it until the metal on the bottom of the head slides onto the metal peice on the charger.

Clyde,

When yo put the head on the peg, rotate the head 180 degrees. When you do this, a little brass looking stud on the head comes in contact with the metal bar on the charger base. That completes the circuit and starts charging. The light should turn red when its charging.

I had issues with my light. The charger didn't work right. It left me out in the dark a few times. I called Allen and he had me send it back. He changed the way the light charges. Now I just plug a charger in at the batt pack.

The red light turns green when it's fully charged, correct?
