skeet, the big boy, pics

me and my boys, took a breather between deer season and the weather. my skeet, is coming into manhood, lol. he thinks he has to protect everythng from everythng. i am glad i took a rest from the pup and let him grow up a bit.

he is looking at the propane guy showing up and filling up.

and then tonight, my shepherd, husband's shepherd, had something in the yard, i thought it was another squirrel but it was a muskrat, tried to figure out where she got it, heck of a blood trail, from the rat, the dog got a hit

so, i wanted to say what fur was left off the rat, and low and behold, the pup grabbed and ran.

we had some obedience training after that.

i had the rat up off the ground on the wood pile, til i grabbed it, that hound grabbed it out of my hand and ran. we are doing some training .
this is the accidental breeding i had, she is due end of jan. she will tree, in the snow she will get the squirrel. and then comes the hound part. oh boy. no gun necessary. kill everything that is a mammal. and then mix with a hound. oh boy.
