Went to buy a 20 gauge, that came with a 22 barrel. They did a call in on me and I got denied.
I just bought a 44 3 weeks ago. So what has changed since then I dont know?
But how do I find out, what stopped me from getting the 20?

They should have told you. Try again next week, it may be that you have to wait 4 weeks between guns.

I had a buddy try and buy a 12g at the 500 gun and knife show in indy and he got denied. He had never been in trouble etc etc. I think you can call and see what's up.

Happened to me the first time I tried buying a rifle. By the time we had scrambled my Grandfathers information up, (he was with us at the time) they called back and granted the permission. The next time I tried it took over a day for them to call back a grant permission. Just bought one tonight and was done in just a few minutes. The system is somewhat crazy I think. LOL!

got an answer from the FBI. they said someone with my name or meets my discription is a fugitive from justice....

I got some what of a laugh out of this cause they sent this in a letter. So now I guess I will wait for the boys in blue or another letter saying I can go buy a gun.

someone in virginia with the same name as myself has gotten into some trouble in the past. i don't get denied but it always takes a day or two before they give the go ahead because they are always having to sort out the two identities. you'd think with a ss# it wouldn't be a problem.
