Took Ellie out for a quick drop tonight. She did a nice job . Dropped her on a brook. Not a bark ! She worked out to 800 yds so I figured I work my way back to the truck and maybe drive around to get closer. Just got to the truck and heard her open. Track sounded good, but way out there. About 10 minutes rolled by, she located and treed. Was she LOUD! Didn't take to long to figure out why ,the last hundred yards or so was a steep hike. Coon wasn't that far up the tree laying in the "Y" of the tree just looking down.

Jughead , Heather , Thanks for the kind words.

Clay, I really enjoy running hounds. This is my favorite time of year. No leaves tells it all..... LOL. Only have a couple weeks left till deer season comes in. Then ole' man winter is usually knocking on the door.
