Marlin firearms=poor customer service

Ordered a part for my bolt action 981T 22cal. on the 10th of Oct. I was told the part would ship around the 14th. I am still waiting.
They keep telling me that they are moving their factory....whatever, I dont want excuses I need the part I ordered.
So FYI, consider this before buying Marlin firearms.
I am definately not buying any more of their brand,,,,

I must be the lucky one! I have two ...one of which is the stainless steel model. Neither of them have ever jammed on me. I'm just a lucky guy I guess. I just never have problems with anything... lights, boots, vehicles... you name it. I'm living right I guess.

Todd youd be better off with an old model 94 winchester, and richer when you wanted to sell it.

ive had marlin rifles all my life and never had any issues any worse than other rifles. now i never have had ordered one but i have purchased quite a few. i coon hunt with a marlin 22 auto and it has not yet jammed, but with any autos, they will jam from time to time. for the price i dont think you can beat them. i got my first gun when i was 7, it was a marlin 22 bolt action and it still shoots as good as the day i got it. until they let me down, it will be the first brand i buy. customer service on the other hand, i never had to deal with them so i dont know how that is. They have a great product i think, but dont know about the customer service tho.

JiM, no I bought the part straight from Marlin, and by the way, it arrived today, finally.
anyway, I am glad to hear of all the good replies on Marlin, I just hope yall never have to buy a part for your guns from Marlin.
To be fair I can say that the 981T is the most accurate 22 I have ever owned.

I've got an old Marlin made Glenfield mod. 25 and absolutely love it. It'll shoot any. 22 round you put in it and it's dead accurate. After kill season ended last year I stripped it down and refinished the wood and had the barrel duracoated, now it has looks to match the performance! You wouldn't know it's a 30 year old gun, and they're cheap too!

I've got a Glenfield 25 and it does shoot good. Tell me more about duracoat? Mine is kinda rough. Who does it and how much?
