Tuesday, 11/02/10 General Election VOTE CONSERVATIVE!!
Wednesday, 11/03/10 NC WRC Big Game Committee 9:00 am
Thursday, 11/04/10 NC WRC full commission meeting 9:00 am
Election Day is Tuesday,11/02/2010. Please vote conservative and encourage other hunters to do so.
Big Game Committee chairman David Hoyle, Jr. seems to be waiting for election results before he pushes for a vote on the Georgia Plan. He rescheduled this Big Game Committee meeting to come after Tuesday's elections. David's base consists of Democrats in the NC Senate and NC House. If they remain in the majority in the NC General Assembly, this situation could possibly give David momentum to push his secret agenda to undermine dog hunting.

Please note the Big Game Committee Agenda 10:30 am item "Other Topics from the Floor". This is an UNUSUAL entry. The Agenda does not usually contain this language. This agenda item provides David Hoyle or other members of the Big Game Committee with the legal opportunity to bring up the Georgia Plan and vote on it, without giving advance notice of their intention to discuss and vote on the Georgia Plan.
What can you do? VOTE! If you have already voted in Early Voting, take someone to the polls on Tuesday. Encourage other hunters to vote.

The Tuesday, November 2, 2010 elections are important for dog hunters in North Carolina. Vote only for Senators & House of Representative candidates who support your right to hunt with dogs. Do not vote for anyone who does not have a proven record of supporting our sport. This includes the important local elections for sheriff and county commissioners. If you are not sure what they believe, ask the candidates and people who know them. Google them. Find out what they tell others about what they believe. Do they dog hunt? Do they hunt at all? Are they endorsed by the NRA? Are they conservative? Avoid anyone who supports "animal rights". If you have questions, please call us. We can help obtain information on your local candidates.
