Tell me this, how many times have you actually been coonhunting? Since you are making a chronical from all of your hunts and the "first hunt" was less than a month ago, and I have seen only 3 chronical stories do you really think it is time to add another dog into the mix?? Apparently you already have "the worlds greatest mix breed pup trainer" and a pup that is going to "kick all our butts" so really, why would you need another dog when you go twice a week? Not trying to be mean to you, but just being up front. Unless you are indpendently wealthy, or retired, or hunt 6 hours a night, the two you got now should be plenty.
Have as many dogs as you want, feed as many as you want, hunt as little as you want, I don't care. I am trying to get your to see that maybe another dog isn't a good idea. BELIEVE ME this is not the only 18 month old dog that just needs a "little work" to be a great dog. Check out the classifieds they are sold everyday. Nobody gets rid of a young dog doing a good job for a "good price". Save your money on the dog and get some tools like a light, a tracker, a shocker ect.....For crying out loud, where you live you have like a month left of hunting before you are burried in snow, why get another dog now??
I have no idea why I attempt to help people with all the anwers. It just makes me dumber than them.
