Bluetick Puppy Found On Road
Went for a ride with some friends this weekend and while my friends were in the store getting snacks I waited outside. I saw a dog sniffing around the garbage cans and running around the roadway. I called to it and put him in our van. We waited around to see if anyone was looking for him, but to no avail.
He was pretty skinny but had a collar on, no tags. He was found near Milford, NY. I brough him home for the night hoping to contact the radio stations etc. to find his owner. I cant keep him though I desperately would love to. He needs to go ASAP because of my current living situation.
If anyone has any idea who this dog belongs to, please contact me 607-435-0743. Hes a Bluetick male, approximately 4 months old. I have to work tomorrow and have no idea what I am going to do with him, so also- if theres anyone nearby who would be wiling to take him in until he finds his owner or a new home, please conact me also. He is very friendly, pretty calm- great around my dogs, my kid and her cousins, and even likes the cats.
He may have become lost in connection with recent flooding in the area. Anyone who has a heart as big or bigger than mine, please help this little guy out. Like I said, Id keep him i I could. Hes GREAT and theres no better thing than a coonhound, but my situation right now could lose me my housing if I get caught with him even once. Since hes not quiet like my dogs, its impossible to hide him. I couldnt stand the thought of this beautiful boy getting hit by a car or shot at.
