The Final Cast is assembled and ready to leave the grounds soon. Watch this thread for up to the minute scoring. I'm going to lock the thread to keep it as clean as possible for those trying to figure scores. Please feel free to start a conversational thread and I'll try to watch it and answer any questions that I can.

It's cool with cloud cover and in fact it just started sprinkling a little. No wind. Should be lots of coon treed. Cast is headed about 25 minutes from Columbia City. Allen Gingerich is on the cast and will calling scores back to me and I'll be callling them to the grounds after posting here.

Just talked to Allen and the cast is half way to where they are going to turn out. Truck therm says 55 degrees and it is sprinkling rain.

Cast turned loose at 9:00.

Gabby struck for 100, Duce for 75, Clean for 50 and Tiny for 25.

Gabby treed for 125, Duece for 75 and Tiny for 50.

OK...Tiny was minused for being off the tree. Dunlap ends up finding the coon for the others. Tree is plussed. When they get dogs off tree and listen, Clean is declared treed. They are on their way to Clean's tree with dogs in hand.

Clean's tree is plussed. Time out called. 24 minutes used.

Got them turned back loose again...no strike to report yet. Should have posted previously the cast is being judged by Jeff Cole and Saul Hall.

Clean struck for 100, Gabby for 75, Tiny for 50 and Duce for 25. Gabby has been treed for 125 and Tiny has been treed for 75.

OK....Tiny and Gabby were split so Tiny moves up to 125. Gabby was then minused 125 for leaving. Duce is declared treed for 125 and is split 30 yards from Tiny. Both Tiny and Duce's trees are plussed. Gabby came into one of those trees and is minused his strike points also. When they take dogs off tree, Clean is treed in deep for 125.

Clean's tree is plussed! Time out called. 48 minutes used.

Clean struck for 100, Duce for 75 and Gabby for 50. The three of them are in deep and the cast is tightening up on them.

Tiny gets struck for 25.

Clean is treed for 125. Tiny is treed for 75. Duce is treed for 50. And Gabby is treed for 25.

OK....when they got in there, Duce and Gabby were split. So move Duce up to 125 and Gabby to 75. Clean and Tiny's tree is plussed. Duce and Gabby's tree is circled. Time out called. 42 minutes left to hunt. Cast is moving.

Dogs are cut loose and Duce is struck for 100, Clean for 75, Gabby for 50 and Tiny for 25. Al said Duce, Gabby and Tiny are working off to their right pretty close and Clean is already deep. While I was typing this he called back and said Clean is treed for 125.

Gabby is treed for 125 and Duce is treed with him for 75.

Tiny is treed down near Clean for 125.

Clean's tree is plussed. Headed to score Duce and Gabby.

Duce and Gabby are split about 20 yards so move Duce up to 125.

(side note - Al called me just to say, "Man...these are some coondogs!" He said don't take anything away from the other three, he can see how they got here. But he said it's a real coon treeing show right now.)

Gabby's tree is a big blow down with a pile around it or something. Anyway...it's circled. Duce's tree is plussed. Headed to Tiny's tree.

Tiny's tree is plussed. Time out called. 19 minutes left to hunt. Wow!

Next drop...Gabby struck for 100, Clean for 75, Duce for 50 and Tiny for 125. Tiny has been treed for 125, Gabby for 75 and Clean for 50.

Duce did get treed for 25. Tree is plussed. Time out called. 12 minutes left to hunt.

Got them cut loose. Duce struck for 100, Clean for 75, Gabby for 50 and Tiny for 25. Gabby is treed for 125, Duce for 75, Tiny for 50 and Clean for 25. When they got there Tiny was split so move her up to 125 and Clean up to 50. Both trees plussed! Hunts over. 12 coons treed. And we have a new World Champion that we can all be very proud of.
