Sat. around 7pm the wife and I were out for supper and my boy called and said the garage was on fire. the garage is next to my kennels the boys got all of the dogs out and the fire department was called had some moderate damage. Sunday we had high winds all day about 2pm garage starts on fire again once again we get the fire put out start cleaning up the mess. about 6pm the wife and I are out for supper again i was only gone about 15 min. my boy calls again tells me the garage is engulfed in flames they start getting the dogs out of the kennels with the help of friends and nieghbors some of the kennel was on fire when i arrived back home fire department arrived same time. we had dogs running everywhere with all the help we had from nieghbors we got them all rounded up. melted the siding off the house we lost everything in the garage lots of hunting stuff tools and some things that can not be replaced. but thankfully no body got hurt and the dogs are ok a little freaked but ok.

I don't think the boy's will let us go out again.

I feel your pain. It is a feeling like none I have ever felt that is for sure. I lost my whole kennel back in March of this year and I was very blessed that my hounds didn't die in this fire. Be thankful you didn't either. My Prayers go out to you and your family. Take care and God Bless.

Sorry about the lose. Have never had anything like that happen except an old truck I had burnt up. I know how I felt about the truck so a building would have to be much worse. Glad your family is safe and your hounds. Is the huse ok other than the siding?

yea the house is fine except for the siding. the worse part is i had several momento's from when the kids were little and things handed down to my wife and myself these things can never be replaced nor can a value be put on them. And trying to remember everything that was in the garage for insurance is going to be pain staking.
